Katafract LLC is an independent software studio building privacy-first tools for iPhone. We make apps that solve real problems and stay entirely on your device — no accounts, no cloud, no tracking.

A cataphract was the heaviest cavalry in the ancient world — fully armored, unstoppable. We build apps that give your data the same protection.

Every Katafract app ships with the same architecture: all processing happens on your device, no network calls are made for core functionality, and there is no server-side component that could be breached, subpoenaed, or shut down.

Our apps are free to try and fair to upgrade. ExifArmor and ParkArmor are free with core functionality — no accounts, no timers, no expiry. A single $3.99 one-time purchase unlocks the full experience permanently, tied to your Apple ID. DocArmor is $3.99 outright with no tiers at all. No subscriptions, ever.
