Point the camera at a QR code, paste a link, or share one from any app. SafeOpen accepts any format and decodes it immediately — no internet required for this step.

Inspect

SafeOpen classifies the payload type, normalizes the URL, and runs local risk heuristics. You see the destination, the payload type, a risk level, and a plain-language reason for the score.

Open, Copy, or Dismiss

Tap “Open” to proceed, “Copy” to grab the URL, or dismiss it. No dark patterns, no auto-open. Your choice, fully informed.

🔒 Inspection happens on your device

SafeOpen’s MVP runs entirely on-device. There are no servers, no URL submissions, and no network calls for core scanning and risk scoring. Your scanned links and their results are stored locally and never leave your phone.
